1、I think there should be these classes because students will learn to respect other religions. I think we should attend these religion classes because we have to learn to respect other people.
2、Yes! It’s important to understand cultures and backgrounds of different religions; in fact, every religion exhorts people to do good, whether it is Buddhism, Catholic, Muslim, Christian, etc. Besides, students know how to respect other people's God by this religion course.
3、It’s good because students can learn different culture and customs
4、The advantage is that this course will let students know the truth of each religion.
But the shortcoming is that some students without any belief may feel tasteless on the topic of religion.

1.Yes, I think the students needs to learn not only Chinese, math and science but also ethics and religion. They need to learn more extra knowledge.
2.There are over thousands of different religions so I think that we can understand different cultural backgrounds through that class, and learn to accept and tolerate different religions.
3.I think it is great to study religion in school because we can know something about different religions around the world, and we can also know their culture, their backgrounds, even their origin.

5.It is bad because it may cause some problems. Though we should tolerate and accept all of the religions, some conservative religions think some interference may occur while they pass on their faith to their children.

1. No, I think that replacing ethics or religion courses with volunteer service is a better idea. I think that Taiwanese students are good at passing exam but they can put the principles they learned into practice. I have to say, maybe it is strong language, that we students learn and forget everything on the textbook after exam. For example, being a environmental protection volunteer for thirty hours will let us know the importance of public moral. Also, being a religious volunteer may let us experience what the activities are like in religious groups.

2. Yes. Because we have to respect everyone's opinions, something about Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity.

3.Sounds boring. I can imagine a lot of proper nouns can not wait to stuff our brains up.

4.Benefits：Students will have basic acquaintance with different religions. We will have some topics to talk to those with different religions. Besides we will keep in mind the taboos in different religions.

I think we can learn different religious and issues at school. All people are the same, but they have their right to choose their various religious and social issues.

2. If I just learn the religions from the book, I will feel bored. The better way is to learn from their life or their backgrounds or their cultures. In addition, if we learn the different religious relationships mabye cuase conflict between different believes.

3.Yes. I can learn different cultures at school because teachers will guide us to respect others like people, skin colors, cultures and social backgrounds. It is good for us to know people around the world.

1. Yes, I believe that students should take ethics or religion courses in school. The reason for that is because we’re now in a process of globalization, and so it is important for us to have knowledge of ethics and religion. By taking ethics and religion courses, students can learn how to respect to others, and respect what other people believe. Yet I do believe that the teaching shouldn’t include too much detail, maybe just knowledge in general, so that it will not affect students’ beliefs and cause problems.

2. Yes, learning other religions help people to understand others from a different backgrounds or cultures because religions is always linked and connected to cultures. For example, almost every religion has a story, and the story normally demonstrates the way people think and believe in that region.

3. I feel it is necessary for students to study religion in school.

4. By taking ethics and religion courses, students will benefit from learning how to respect others and their ideas. It’s a great chance for students to understand other cultures and their backgrounds. However, the drawback is that if the teaching contains too much detail, then it might affect the way student is thinking. Moreover, creating problem because their parents might not want this to happen, since it might change the family’s idea and/or believes.

1. Yes. I agree with that students should learn other religions or take ethics at school because we can learn what the different are between religions. The results will bring me some ideas to understand the beliefs in the different people. We have learnt the religions at school, but we don’t have the specific courses to learn them. I am happy to follow what I got in learning.

2. Yes. Knowing different cultures which are from other religions helps us respect others. By way of understanding and learning, we will know the people around the world and it helps me know more knowledge and beliefs.
I have some friends who are Christians. Before eating their food, they have to pary to God. I feel very interesting.
3. If we get more chances to contact religious pluralisms, we will have lots of visions to understand the world. Why people will have conflict with others because of cultures or religions. Then I can learn how to respect others.
There are some activities for celebraing Xmas, like sing songs and a show. We all enjoy the wonderful time.

4. There are some advantages. For example, we will know religious cultures to enrich my knowledge. I can respect other cultures even if this people has different believes.
Shortcoming: If the courses are religions, someone will feel bored. They will feel sleepy are in class. Sometimes, if my classmates have some different ideas, they will have some strong argues in class. I also feel interested in it.
